This 3D model was originally designed with Sketchup 13 and then transformed into all other 3D formats seamlessly. Native format remains .skp while the 3dsmax scene uses 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered expertly with Vray 3.00. The first Proton Saga produced by Malaysian automobile manufacturer Proton was a groundbreaking achievement. It is modeled after the 1983 Mitsubishi Lancer Fiore saloon as a result of a joint collaboration between the Malaysian government and Mitsubishi Motors of Japan. Proton Saga debuted officially on July 9, 1985, at the hands of former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. Initially available in a sleek 4-door saloon style, it later expanded its lineup with a versatile 5-door hatchback variant in 1987. The first generation Proton Saga reigned for an impressive 23 years until its eventual replacement by the second generation Proton Saga in early 2008. More than 1.2 million units of the original Proton Saga were sold, solidifying it as Proton's top-selling offering to date. Interestingly, the name "Proton Saga" is famously associated with the tiny red seed of the Saga tree (Adenanthera pavonina), widely recognized in Malaysia. However, Ismail Jaafar, a retired military soldier who spearheaded the naming contest before its launch, claims that Saga was initially conceived as an acronym representing safety, achievement, greatness, and ability. The Proton Saga holds immense national significance as a cherished symbol of Malaysia. The original template was crafted by The Flying Finn. This remodeled 3D model can be created in just 30 minutes with minor adjustments required for precision accuracy. It is presumably a standard edition and represents the best attempt at recreating this iconic car. More models are on their way!
