This model replicates a personal 1979 AA5A Grumman Cheetah. Known for its ease of entry and exit via a large sliding canopy, the aircraft is popular among pilots. Despite having an aft CG issue that may lead to overloading, it's a great general aviation aircraft. The model includes 3D printable STL files and has been meticulously detailed to match the owner's personal Cheetah paint scheme. It can be customized as desired. This Cinema 4D native model is given a subdivision factor of 2 for other programs, but lower or higher poly models can be arranged upon request. The C4D model uses symmetry, cloner, and spline tools for efficient build and renders at 0 subdivision. Nearly all polygons are quads with some triangles. Enabling subdivision rendering creates a sharp, attractive model suitable for stills or animation. The cockpit includes realistic and adjustable switches and knobs, while various movable parts like the canopy slider, yoke, throttle, and more add to its authenticity. Over 200 hours of work went into building and designing this model, which has a total poly count of 967279 (excluding C4D with subdivision factor 2). Note that the engine isn't included in the cowl but can be opened like on the actual aircraft.
