This is an airbox silencer upgrade designed specifically for 1970s 50cc Gilera motorcycles. I crafted this custom silencer after swapping out the standard air filter with a larger K&N E-4513 unit, which necessitated creating a new housing to accommodate its increased size. The original silencer can still be used, but this upgraded version provides a higher mounting position of 20mm above the air box, allowing for greater internal space within the airbox and facilitating easier airflow through larger intake holes and an additional opening.
