Did not know that this part existed. No sure what is the purpose of this cover. Saw it being discussed on Samba. The original is flexible, sort of like PLU. I made this out of PETG. Should be able to withstand engine compartment temperature. It is not flexible, so I had to extend the slit for the latch to go through.
