1967 Ford Mustang heater valve replacement

A buddy of mine designed a part for his new heater valve on his 1967 Ford Mustang. He's not on Thingiverse, so I asked him to publish it, and he agreed. The problem is that his old original C-code heater valve was leaking because the valve sealing had broken. Over time, it hadn't stayed centered anymore, causing leaks from the bores intended for the membrane. We looked online for replacement parts, but it's always the same: the original part isn't available anywhere, and people are selling it for large gold nuggets' prices - I have no idea why. So we bought replacement parts from 1970 Mustangs because they're not made of plastic like the ones sold under 1969. The problem is that you can't screw them onto their metal plate like the old one. We'll still use the original mounting metal plate, and on its place, you'll need to attach the printed part. Then you can clip the heater valve to the printed part. Be aware: PLA will melt down due to engine heat, and ABS (same as PLA) aren't resistant to fuels. We printed this adapter plate in ABS; if it breaks, we'll print another one. In the picture, you'll see the heater valve we bought. Good luck!
