The exquisite gown was first donned by its generous owner on a memorable day, September 15th, 1957, at the historic Illogan Church. Delicately adorned with intricate lace and sparkling drop pearls tastefully positioned around the waist, the dress also featured an abundance of sequins in a soft, creamy ivory hue. After the wedding celebration, the elegant gown underwent a transformation to prepare it for a subsequent dance event, where it was skillfully shortened and its majestic train was carefully removed.
