The 1931 Invicta S-Type, a sports car with a low chassis, was a style icon in its era. J R Buckley praised it as unbeatable among unsupercharged cars of similar capacity in England. Its under-slung chassis set it apart from the tall contemporary vehicles and few sports cars have matched its appearance since. Invicta Company was founded in 1924 by Noel Macklin and Oliver Lyle, who aimed to create a car with American performance, European quality, and roadholding. Despite sharing similar competition motoring backgrounds as the contemporary Bentley and being produced to an exemplary standard, both companies struggled during the early 1930s Depression years due to high pricing. A 3D model of the 1931 Invicta S-Type has been made in Blender and includes several file formats like .blend, .obj, .ply, .stl, .x3d, and .bip (for Keyshot). The model may have decimated parts suitable for most popular 3D programs. Texture or UV maps, Normal, and Bump are also included, with further details available in the marmoset Viewer Scene.
