The Packard 740 Custom Eight and 745 Deluxe Eight featured a 384.8 cubic-inch engine, generating 106 horsepower. With a 140.5-inch wheelbase, the 740 model was upgraded by the 145.5-inch wheelbase of the 745. New for this year was the four-speed transmission and 4.69 rear axle ratio. The 745 came standard with dual mounted spare tires while it was an option on the 740. Coachbuilders including LeBaron, Brewster, Rollston, and Dietrich could style both models, offering eleven bodystyles for each. As a result, the Seventh Series Packards catered to diverse customer needs. These models are available online for free access and can be rendered in Cinema 4D.
