1930 Ford Modell A simplified cnc/laser
cults3d
This is my second attempt at creating a simplified car model, similar to the Ford Mustang. The Ford Model A is made from several layers of plywood, carefully glued together. My build was completed on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft using a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. I used 6 mm beech plywood and 6 mm beech rods for the axles. To improve rotation, I added a small amount of grease. Washers give the tires (darkened with wood stain) a proper displacement. A laser cutter could be a good alternative tool to build this model. Consider that some complex parts require specific sizes or materials to be strong enough. Visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/Spielsachen for more toy designs. Remember, the STL file is intended for viewing purposes only. Do not attempt to print this design on an FDM printer.
