This is my second attempt at creating a simplified car model. Like the Ford Mustang, this Ford Model A is constructed from several layers of plywood, carefully glued together. My build was accomplished using a desktop CNC-machine by Stepcraft, equipped with a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. I selected 6 mm beech plywood and 6 mm beech rods for the axles. To improve rotation, I applied a small amount of grease. Washers provide the tires (darkened with wood stain) with proper displacement. A laser cutter may be an excellent alternative tool for building this model. It is essential to consider that some complex parts require specific sizes and/or materials to ensure strength.
