I made this after discovering a major flaw in an eBay 7-round 1911 magazine I bought. The follower would often get stuck mid-way or at the very bottom, and even using a Dremel to smooth out the sharp edges barely helped. After testing, I found that this version feeds smoothly with minimal wear and tear. It also locks the slide fine after firing the last round. However, inserting it and removing it can be slightly trickier than the metal follower, but if you know what you're doing, it's not too difficult. I'm not responsible if you decide to print this, as I haven't experienced any issues myself, but I'm not guaranteeing that you won't encounter problems either. Printing on the side gives this design its maximum strength. To ensure easy removal, fine-tune your support settings accordingly.
