Sometimes pushing in the buffer spring and rotating the barrel bushing on a 1911 can be difficult. Especially if you have arthritis. I made this disassembly tool to make take down of the 1911 easier. This was designed to fit a 70 series Colt 1911 Government Model MKIV, not sure if it will fit other makes/models.
