1911 Checkering Jig V2

1911 Checkering Jig V2

thingiverse

I updated my checkering jig for 1911 models. The new design is larger and features a wider guide area to ensure accurate alignment. I've also added a specialized jig to assist with creating vertical lines, taking precision to the next level. To print this jig sturdily, use a robust setting: four perimeters, three to four layers on top and bottom, and a minimum of 30% infill. This will guarantee a solid foundation for reliable performance. The STL files are expertly oriented to provide the best possible fit for 1911 models. Although the horizontal jig may require supports to maintain its shelf, these can be easily removed without any issues. To fine-tune the fit, you might need to do some light filing. However, avoid forcing or striking the jig as it will not provide a snug fit; instead, aim for a comfortable, secure alignment that enhances overall performance.
