I needed to level the sand while relaying some sunken pavers, but I didn't want to spend $65 on a specialized sand tamper tool. Since I couldn't find a suitable 3D model of one, I decided to try designing my own.Using my Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer, I printed this tool using Esun ABS filament, with a layer height of 0.20mm and 40% infill. The tool can be screwed onto a standard broom or paint roller threaded stick, and has proven to be sturdy enough to withstand the demands of leveling my patio.Note that I used ABS filament because that's what I had available, but PLA should work just as well.
