These mounting strips enable secure attachment of 19-inch rack-mounted gear, utilizing a 2U or 4U configuration. They're mounted directly to the sides of a wooden cabinet with a 19-inch frame. To accommodate caged nuts, I opted for round 5mm holes instead of traditional square cutouts. Before tapping these holes with an M6 thread, it's essential to clean them out using a 5mm drill bit. The corresponding screw holes on the cabinet itself measure 4mm in diameter. Despite being crafted from durable materials, these mounting strips can support even heavy equipment while maintaining standard metal dimensions.
