This is an adapter to go from a Makita 18V Battery to a Panasonic 18V tool. 1. Take apart old battery, carefully disassembling it into its individual components. 2. The old battery top will be reused, serving as the foundation for the new adapter design. 3. Old battery clips and springs will also be reused, providing a reliable connection point. 4. Securely attach the old battery top to the new printed bottom using the original screws, creating a sturdy base. 5. Purchase a (1/4")x(1/16")x(12") brass strap from Amazon, which will facilitate connections between components. 6. Acquire a new Makita slide connector (#643860-3) for $5.00, essential for establishing electrical continuity. 7. Utilize spade terminals to create internal connections between the brass straps and the new Makita slide connector. 8. Bend the bottom of the brass straps outward to accommodate spade terminal connections, ensuring a secure fit.
