This is a USB power bank made from an 18V Makita battery. Compared to one made by Makita, this model has all the Quick Charge capabilities and is priced slightly lower, but that wasn't the point of this project. To create this power bank, you need a double port board that supports 12-24V and can accommodate a Makita battery insert. The USB board can be purchased on Aliexpress for $2.60 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000001793805.html). It has an output power of up to 24W (5V/3.4A, 9V/2.5A, 12V/2A, etc.) and supports multiple charging protocols. These include DCP, BC1.2, Apple, Samsung, Huawei Fast Charge Protocol FCP/SCP, AFC, Spreadtrum Fast Charge Protocol SFCP, Qualcomm QC2.0 and 3.0, and MTK PE1.1/PE2.0. You can also purchase the Makita battery insert on Aliexpress, but it's extremely expensive - just a plastic casing with three metal inserts - priced between $9-11 USD. I bought mine for less than $2 EUR as a spare part (643852-2) for my Makita drill. I designed and printed my own Makita battery holder model because some existing designs were too loose or rough, and I wanted it to be compatible with other future projects. The battery holder requires supports during printing.
