This remarkable, round wooden butter print is showcased in the artifact collections at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh, North Carolina. The museum's staff explains that Scottish immigrants brought this handcrafted print with them to North Carolina sometime during the eighteenth century. An examination of the design on the bottom of the print suggests it depicts a tobacco leaf.
