Warning - the sensor is too unstable with this mount. I designed a new one, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2067485. As I wanted to use a heated glass bed, I needed a longer probing distance from the sensor. I found an alternative on banggood: http://www.banggood.com/LJ18A3-8-ZBX-M18-Proximity-Sensor-6-36VDC-8mm-Detective-Approach-Sensor-Inductive-Proximity-Switch-p-1098082.html. Surprisingly, it functions perfectly on 5V. With this modification, the distance to the nozzle changes to 4mm in the Y-axis as I had to move the sensor forward to avoid interference from the fan. In order for it to work effectively, I need to place a 0.5mm iron sheet under my 4mm glass. Then the probe detects about 2mm above the glass.
