I saw MonkeyBear's insert design on Boardgamegeek and wanted to print a copy of this myself. He had a large plate at the bottom of the insert to prevent it from sliding around, and I thought there was a "filament-friendly" way to achieve this using arms instead of a plate. I also worried that my unleveled bed wouldn't allow me to print this as large as he did. So, instead of splitting into two parts only, I modified the design to use curved edges along rails (to make it easier to get the other parts out) and added slots along the base of the main component so I could print each piece separately. Finally, since I often store my games vertically, I wanted to "lock" in the company indicators so they wouldn't slide out. I pushed the vertical columns down a couple mm and chopped off a slab from the top of that part of the insert. This allowed me to print a "cap" that fits snugly into those channels, ensuring the little parts stay put when turned upside down.
