I'm upgrading my 7-inch quadcopter with a custom DIY 6S2P 18650 battery, but I need to safeguard it from damage. To do this, I'm using a TPU sleeve specifically designed for my 38mm x 57mm battery pack. My current setup involves multiple layers of heatshrink tubing - two separate packages for the 2p and 2s2p configurations, respectively - followed by an additional two layers wrapped around the entire pack. If you don't have enough heatshrink on hand, consider printing the designs a few percentage points smaller to ensure a snug fit. This custom sleeve is tailored to my unique battery dimensions and will provide the necessary protection for my high-performance quadcopter.
