18650 Slim single box mod
thingiverse
This is a brand new single box mod design. To build it, you will need several key components: The first part needed is a DIY spring-loaded firing button for mechanical mods, which can be found at https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011690/2013501-diy-spring-loaded-firing-button-for-mechanical-mod. Next, you'll require a 510 connector with solder ring terminal for electrical connections, available at https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011689/3441401-510-connector-w-solder-ring-terminal-for-e. You will also need a low-cost Chinese voltmeter that measures approximately 11x23mm. Magnetically, you'll require five 5x5x2mm magnets to secure the mod in place. A 5mm tact switch is necessary for switching the voltmeter on and off. Additionally, three 3mm neodymium magnets are optional, depending on your printer's accuracy in printing the battery closure part. In my case, the part was held in place by friction alone. The contacts for the battery are made from a brass sheet that has been bent into shape and hot glued at the bottom of the mod. Fusion 360 files for this design can be found at http://a360.co/2gWuCEq.
