18650 Receiver mod for Props3D IB-94 Mando Blaster
thingiverse
I have a bunch of harvested 18650 batteries around and LiPo batteries and chargers aren't exactly cheap, so I tried to see where one might fit in here. There was almost enough space in the receiver for it. So I joined the top rail back on and hollowed it out to fit. There is a little bit of extra length to allow for adding connections to the battery as desired. I soldered mine. A single 18650 is not enough voltage so I used a USB battery pack charging board and put it in the handle. This will allow for charging the battery and the 5v needed to power the other boards. I got some of these from aliexpress but they were only putting out the same voltage as the battery so, it must not have the boost circuit in it. https://a.co/d/1Mep0Sz I happened to have a board similar to this that I removed the USB-A from and connected the other parts to that lead. https://a.co/d/eRi9kFa
