I sought an effortless method to insert and remove batteries for recharging. I adapted One_Ying's battery holder design to utilize magnets as contacts. I possessed some magnets from a ruined brushless motor, thus I crafted holes for the magnets measuring approximately 2.5 x 7 mm. Magnets cannot withstand excessive heat, so I wrapped a wire around the magnet and secured it with hot glue; this proved effective, as soldering would have generated significantly more heat, potentially causing the magnet to detach. Furthermore, I discovered that most RC model battery chargers include a setting for Lithium Ion batteries like the 18650 (displayed as "LiIo"), enabling rapid charging at desired rates. Although I learned that normal charge rates for my 18650 batteries typically range from 1.25 amps. If you're only charging a single cell, you can skip using balance leads.
