18650 LION SideLids (4s, 6s)

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Do NOT EXCEED battery specification whet it comes to maximum amperage. DIY 3D components to assemble 18650 LION battery pack for drone (FPV quadcopter, plane, ...). General idea is to have good airflow for battery 4-6s pack to limit temperature and provide good airflow while drone flight. Most of DIY packs assembled using shrink tubes becomes hot if forced to give more power than it should (due to huge amperage draw). Lowering working temperature and giving 2mm distance will increase battery life and should give more power while single flight. Sidelids are covering soldered/welded joins, cables end edges of the battery. It gives extra 8-10g as a tradeoff for securing the package. Notes: - extra LION diameter size versions for naked component, choose one that works best with your 3d printer - zipties (30cm*3.6mm) head can be hided in cable holes (cables should then go to the opposite side) - battery contact points holes for easy meter usage (in case you need it) Versions: * 2021-08-30 r1 - added hole for ziptie * 2021-09-03 r2 - simplified, 2 elements
