I needed a reliable charging solution for my 18650 cells, so I opted for an Imax b6 charger. However, every holder I tried had one major flaw - they were too tight, making it difficult to remove the cell without damaging the protective shrink wrap. This was not only frustrating but also a safety concern. To address this issue, I decided to design my own 18650 holder from scratch. My goal was to create a holder that would provide just the right amount of tension - enough to keep the wires secure, but not so tight that it made removing the cell a challenge. I achieved this balance by adding flexibility to the holder's design, allowing for a gentle give when pulling or pushing on the cell. This means that you can easily remove the 18650 without having to worry about damaging the protective shrink wrap. This custom holder is specifically designed for non-protected 18650 cells and features two wire supports underneath the curved part of the holder.
