18650 Double Pack Charger
thingiverse
I stumbled upon a massive collection of 18650 batteries salvaged from laptop battery packs discarded at a previous job, roughly around 2000 units. If left unattended, these batteries might lose their charge and become useless. Given that most were still in a two-piece configuration after disassembling the 3x2 pack setup, I decided to come up with an efficient way to recharge them. Taking inspiration from a single design concept, I completely revamped it to accommodate a two-pack configuration. After several iterations and additions, I arrived at this innovative solution. I hope others find it practical and useful. **Print Settings:** * Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: Up to you * Infill: Up to you (I chose 20-25%) **Notes:** I included supports (+ and - signs on the ends) to prevent accidental insertion of the packs in reverse, which could damage the charge board. **Design Process:** I created this design from scratch using 123D Design.
