I use a small, portable charger for 18650 batteries that I can easily take with me when traveling. This charger pairs well with my phone charger, allowing me to stay powered up on the go. The battery holder and electronics are sourced from AliExpress, which has made it possible for me to build this charger at a very low cost - under one euro! The net weight of the charger is 15 grams. Here's how I put it together: First, I purchase all the necessary parts. Next, I drill holes into the battery holder to prepare it for assembly. Then, I connect the wires to the printed circuit board (PCB). After that, I fit the PCB into its designated housing. Once everything is in place, I test the charger to ensure it's working properly. Finally, I secure the battery holder using double-sided adhesive tape. I tried printing my own battery holder from scratch, but buying one proved to be a more reliable option for building this charger. The battery holder can be found on AliExpress at the following link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Plastic-18650-Battery-Case-Holder-Storage-Box-with-Wire-Leads-for-18650-Batteries-3-7V/32658520557.html?spm=a2g0z.10010108.1000001.8.23126cf42nhmQX&isOrigTitle=true The PCB, which contains the electronics for charging 18650 batteries, can be found at: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-1Pcs-lot-5V-1A-Micro-USB-18650-Lithium-Battery-Charging-Board-Charger-Module-Protection-Dual/32631921696.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.67614c4dJUROQp
