Single-cell and three-cell spacers for organizing battery packs are available. They can be a bit tricky to print due to the small dovetails involved, but printing the first few layers slowly should help. No support is required. Printing them on rafts may actually work better, despite personal preference against using rafts. Edit: New versions of both designs have been uploaded as they were too difficult to snap together initially. The male dovetail has also been shortened to 8.25mm for improved alignment. A second single-cell version with a flare at the bottom of the female dovetail has been added to assist with mating the pieces together. The fit is quite satisfactory. Additionally, a shorter version has been included to reduce print time. This design features a main body height of 7mm and additional tabs that add an extra 1mm for a total height of 8mm. Note: Single-cell spacers do not match with three-cell spacers. There are multiple iterations shown in the photo, but the latest three-cell designs are at the top of the pack. Customize: Since cells come in different sizes, links to OnShape files have been provided for customization. The hole size can be edited in sketch1 by modifying the default dimension of 18.75mm. http://bit.ly/2Ht7DOg (three-cell), http://bit.ly/2HnYEh4 (single-cell)
