18650 Battery Organizer
thingiverse
This is an 18650 Battery Storage Organizer for 10 batteries featuring separated rubber feet. Protected 18650 batteries may not fit in this holder, as I have not tried these batteries since I do not own any. Print time around 9-10 hours depending on slicer settings. If you found this design very helpful or wish to support me, consider buying me a cup of coffee via the link below: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Mb1vZjXUG The two parts are designed to be pressed together without glue, but differences in printer or slicer software may affect how easily they fit. I recommend printing with 50% infill, but one was printed with 20% infill without issue. I have printed this design using a Creality CR10s and Prusa I3mk3, both with 0.2mm layer thickness in PLA-MAX and Gunmetal PLA. Hotend temperature was set to 215 degrees Celsius, heatbed at 70 degrees Celsius, and blower at around 50%. Note that the rubber feet were printed on a Prusa I3mk3 using Ninjaflex, with 240-250 degree hotend and 50 degree heatbed, no blower or minimal blowing. The result was excellent. Warning: I have printed this model on both Creality CR10s and Prusa I3mk3, and the outcome depends on the printer and slicer used. Slic3r Prusa Edition with custom settings produced a nicer version for the Prusa I3mk3, but some round edges showed weird artifacts. The Prusa I3mk3 also printed the joining pegs with an incorrect diameter (5.7mm instead of 6mm), while the holes were perfectly sized at 6.3mm. This caused the model to be loose when printed on the Prusa, but it fits tightly when printed on the Creality CR10. Sorry for the lengthy and boring text, but I felt necessary to provide this information before printing this design. If you experience difficulties joining the two halves, please leave a message, and I will adjust the holes or pegs accordingly.
