Battery Holder for Electronic Devices: A Spring Tab Design This design allows you to connect Series or Parallel circuits with ease. Running parallel connections is preferred over the traditional tab-to-tab method. To double up the battery holder, simply print two units and glue them together side by side. These holders are designed for building robust battery banks or packs. Their sturdy construction ensures long-lasting performance. Note that these are not cases, but rather battery holders. Important Notes: When connecting wire, drill a hole slightly larger than the wire's diameter to allow for expansion due to soldering. This will prevent the wire from becoming too tight. Use epoxy to secure the wire in place on the outside of the holder. For connections between batteries, remove insulation and apply liquid rubber (liquid tape) before soldering. Note: Consider using solid copper wire (like 120V household wiring) for improved performance. When drilling a hole for the tab, offset it from the battery's center to create a "L" shape. This will allow you to center the spring while keeping the tab secure. Caution: When dealing with high current, the negative side of the battery and spring may become hot. In such cases, consider reverting to a traditional tab-to-tab system.
