18650 Battery Holder

I required a high-quality 18650 cell holder for some of my projects, so I created this one and fine-tuned it for 3D printing purposes. Flip the part over before you print it. The 4 squares should be at the bottom. It prints best this way, but if needed, you can print it with a short support over the bridges. I achieved the best results by printing fairly slowly, using 3 perimeter layers and the vase settings (hollow with a solid bottom). You will need to experiment with the settings so they lock and fit together snugly, but this design is far superior for 3D printing compared to trying to replicate the plastic injection molded design. The locking tabs on that design are too small to be effectively printed. I started with that design then rebuilt it in SolidWorks, and optimized it specifically for 3D printing purposes.
