18650 Battery Caps

I use a variety of these for different gizmos and gadgets around my place. The constant fear is that they may suddenly short out due to their exposed ends. To keep this from happening, the protective caps are used to cover the ends completely. These caps can be kept in place simply by wrapping them with a rubber band as demonstrated. The main objective of these instructions isn't to produce something overly strong but it's crucial to remember that you're working with very thin walls here. For that reason alone, I always suggest printing it out with at least 50% fill to provide sufficient strength. When it comes down to it, my go-to method is a layer thickness of 250 microns.
