18650 80P Battery Pack
thingiverse
I'm designing a battery pack for my DIY PowerWall that holds 80 18650 batteries. The design features channels for the bus bars and fuses, as well as break-away tabs in case a cell needs to be replaced. To print this design, I'll need four pieces of the tray and five pieces of the connector for each pack. It's worth noting that one end of the tray has a flat edge, which mates with a connector spanning both ends. A spot of hot glue on the connectors in the corners will keep them securely in place. This is still a work in progress, as I'm waiting for the fuses and haven't finalized my bus bar choice yet. If you're interested in staying up-to-date, be sure to subscribe.
