Apparently there was a time when these were issued to New York City Police officers. They were cast in solid copper and used to help break up riots and gang disputes. They have been used in a couple of movies/shows, including Gangs of New York and Copper. There is some fine detail in the text and flourishes and I could not achieve that with my usual printer settings on my CR-10S. For this reason, I had to create a two part model and print an "insert" with my elegoo mars and then print the rest of the model on my Cr-10S. The parts fit together perfectly and I was able to snap the detailed portion into the larger model. I designed this in inches, so if you put it in your slicing software and it appears tiny, you need to multiply the scale by 25.4 to convert mms to inches. You may also need to adjust the scale to fit your hand as well. Happy printing and POST THOSE MAKES!
