I have an 1833 Greek Revival House. I have missing/broken Shutter Hinges. I found "A.C.Palmer Patent 1843" on the back of one. I looked up the patent. I used a Revopoint 3D scanner to scan it. I tried several different methods to create a model and print it.Most people want to be able to 3D print something. I use my Revopoint POP2 and Prusa 3D Printer to Reverse Engineer things and to make new parts. A lot of the time, the part I'm scanning is defective. I just can't print the Scan. I show three different approaches that I use to go from 3D Scan to 3D Print. Here are some of the things I used: Revopoint POP2 3D scanner (  https://amzn.to/3uiSDsO )Black Clay to hold parts ( https://amzn.to/3vj6rnR )Magnaflux Spotcheck ( https://amzn.to/33ayav7 )Aesub 3D Scanning Spray ( https://shop.gomeasure3d.com/collections/aesub-3d-scanning-spray )Maxidon CAD/CAM Spray ( https://amzn.to/3uYNs1x )White PETG ( https://amzn.to/3Lg00r4 )FTC Disclaimer: We may earn commissions for purchases made through the links below.
