As you can see in the more assembled image, it is easy to make paper/card wheel hubs with different faces on them to alter the look of the wheels...Christmas, Halloween etc... but the faces can also be cut into thirds/fourths to make them as part of the wheel building too. To assemble these parts, MakerBot each piece, then lightly sand mating surfaces to fit them together snugly. You may want to glue the wheel parts together for added strength, but that's probably not necessary. If you successfully make these with a 3D printer, please send me the build-files and machine type so it can be uploaded here for others to use.
