This is the third rendition of Stonehenge on Thingiverse, a natural extension of my ongoing trilogy crafted from natural PLA, a plastic that I find surprisingly evocative. On first glance, people are visibly moved to tears, and I'm still not entirely clear why. I created this model with Tinkercad, a process you can easily replicate online at https://tinkercad.com/things/8bsI8k9L7RD. The import feature has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to add a base to this model in under a minute during my lunch break today. Instructions: Here's Stonehenge on a small base to preserve its essence even after printing the next item. I intentionally left the earlier versions of this miniature Stonehenge ephemeral, but what if you wanted it to last? A pile of mock rocks simply doesn't hold up after being rearranged, much like Humpty Dumpty – once broken, they can never be perfectly reassembled. As always, printing works best with all settings set to 11.
