We've delved deep into architectural history, uncovering a treasure trove of scenery and buildings for our Mesoamerican collection, with the Water Screw standing out as a remarkable find. Although this contraption never existed in its entirety, we've taken creative liberties to bring it to life as an engineering marvel of art. Ancient cultures faced their downfall when they were overwhelmed by their own success, leading to overpopulation. As cities grew into crowded cesspools, death and disease inevitably followed. It soon became clear that controlling water and maintaining sanitary conditions were the keys to supporting large populations in close proximity. In response, complex systems of waterworks, canals, and sewage were developed and implemented with great success. The Romans and Arabian cultures are notable examples, but other civilizations on the Asian and American continents also created similar systems that often rivaled or even surpassed these well-known innovations. We've put together a comprehensive waterworks system of printable tiles, allowing modelers to craft intricate dioramas and scenery. This includes the Water Screw model, a conceptual design reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci's work, which circulated water through the canals, as well as a ground and raised aqueduct system. The Water Screw is a proud addition to our Mesoamerican collection.
