17th Century Grave marker
sketchfab
This stone marker lies adjacent to the south wall of the church, showing signs of heavy wear from the elements. The inscription can still be deciphered as "Here Lies/The Body Of...", although the rest is severely worn down due to weathering. Bradley, Halpin & King documented this stone and its inscription during the Urban Archaeology Survey in 1986. Since then, the inscription has deteriorated so significantly that only a faint outline remains. However, with the help of photogrammetry, it was possible to rediscover the lost text.
