17mm ball mount 2019+ GM truck defrost vent
thingiverse
This it to mount my CTS3 monitor out of the windshield area. The A pillars are a huge blind spot on the truck IMO. No supports, no drill bits! Parts needed: M4 3x 20mm screws M4 nuts x3 Possibly 200-300 grit sandpaper The only mods I had to do were to glue the 2 nuts into the bottom bracket so they don't fall out while positioning the bottom bracket in the vent, and I had to sand .2mm off of the single nut to get it to slide in to the slot in the vertical piece. Also, I had to print at 96% to get the ball size to print 17mm, ymmv. To install, start with fitting the single nut in to the slot in the vertical piece with the 17mm knob on it. Then screw it to the bracket from the side that only has 1 recessed screw hole. Next, thread a screw in to the bottom bracket and then feed it in to the defrost vent as pictured, then start a screw through the top bracket in to the other side of the bottom bracket. Once it's started, you can take the starter screw out and then thread it through the top bracket in to the bottom. Tighten both screws, and you're done :)
