This is a basic enclosure for an 16x16 neopixel matrix. To find them at affordable prices, search on Amazon, eBay, or other websites for "neopixel 16x16 matrix". For more information, see the guides on the Adafruit website. The top is designed to be a diffuser. I found that printing with 100% infill using clear PLA or PETG works well. Two tops are provided: one with a 2mm thickness and another with a 5mm thickness. Choose the level of diffusion you prefer. To make the diffuser work, try different infills. I liked using 3-4 top and bottom layers along with a "Hilbert Curve" infill. Assembling this version is a bit more challenging than assembling an 8x8 matrix because the solder contacts of the matrix are not exposed out the back. Either solder bare wires without connectors to the matrix, then thread them out the hole in the side while placing the matrix in the enclosure and gently pulling on the wires at the same time. Or, thread wires from a connector through the hole in the side, then solder them to the matrix, and place the matrix in the enclosure while gently pulling on the connector at the same time. The goal is to keep the wires taut so they fall into the slot at the bottom of the enclosure. Note: I recommend using the 2mm diffuser as it provides better visual results. Use all nine push pins to secure it. The 5mm diffuser is generally more stable but less bright and requires only four push pins in the corner.
