16x 3.5 mATX hard drive cage V2
thingiverse
Allows you to cram 16x 3.5 hard drives into an ATX case. With five of the cheapest possible 120mm fans, the hottest drives in my case are 53 C and the cage is stable even in PLA. I worked hard to get this design under 500 grams, so you should be able to get two out of a fresh roll. I've found that the best way to mount this in the case is to remove the motherboard standoffs altogether. Then you'll need some 6-32 x 5/8" screws. These will screw directly into the motherboard tray. I would definitely use some 6# washers. I wasn't able to use the Remix feature, but this is a remix of the two Things below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2792439 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3183250 Donations: XCH - xch1s400h9dcjgawdq7xwg39vvz9y0dmfz4933dxrxap7acqwaxjx4jqy5du22
