The digital recreation of a 16th-century swivel gun is currently on display in the National Geographic Treasures of the Earth Exhibit at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. The artifact is being conserved while it is on loan from the government of the Dominican Republic. Kirsten Hawley, an Indiana University Underwater Archaeology IMP student, captured photographs and processed them using Agisoft Photoscan to create this photogrammetric model. Matthew Maus, also from Indiana University, provided technical and methodological guidance for this project.
