A rail-mounted Endstop designed for Makerbot v1.2 Mechanical Endstops is now available, fitting on a 16mm linear rail. Its simple and robust construction ensures that your 3D printer won't self-destruct. In addition to turning off motor movement with the mechanical switch, it also serves as a physical stopper. The mount has been updated* (2/8/12) for increased strength and solder point recesses. To use this Endstop, download the file and open it in Replicator G or similar software.
