I love Cvitanic's idea of a holder to keep CO2 cartridges from clanging around, but as an engineer, the model has far too much plastic involved in its design. I created a more compact version that uses only 0.78 meters of filament versus the original which used 3.53 meters of filament. This new design provides plenty of strength while minimizing unnecessary material usage. I printed it at 20% infill, and surprisingly, this was sufficient to create a sturdy holder without the need for excessive plastic. Increasing the infill would only add material on the bridge between the cartridges, which is not necessary given its already robust design. The 0.3mm layer height allowed for a high level of detail, making it easy to thread the cartridges snugly into place without any post-processing required.
