16amp cable entry assembly

These designs were created using Fusion 360 software from AUTODESK. To bring mains power into my garden shed while keeping it dry, I needed a waterproof solution that allowed for easy entry of the flange nut. After trying each option, I decided on the 45-degree rear plate, which neatly tucks the cable against the adjacent wall and takes up minimal space in the corner of the shed. To install this setup, simply determine where you want to secure it, drill a 30mm diameter hole to accommodate the rear flange nut, drill four holes for the fixing screws, slide the chosen rear plate onto the cable at the correct position, push it into place over the screws, and then tighten the nuts securely. Before assembling the components, be sure to treat the 30mm drilled hole with creosote. I have included a file for a rain shield to keep external fittings dry.
