In the off-season, a drivetrain was created to test our first six-wheel WestCoast Drive. This innovative system will also be used during the season for prototyping purposes. Key features include eight 775pro motors on a dual-speed gearbox (low gear: 1246 ft/s, high gear: 23.37 ft/s), two center treaded wheels for traction, and four omni wheels for improved maneuverability. Additionally, the design includes 18t #25 sprockets, aluminum tubes, gussets construction, an open front for prototype attachment flexibility, and numerous holes for easy attachment. The concept was inspired by other successful teams like 1678, 254, and 1323. Enjoy exploring this unique drivetrain!
