165mm car speaker pod mount for boats, RV's etc.

Freestanding pods designed to securely mount a pair of 165mm car speakers on my boat. I plan to add grills later, but for now these sleek pods look great with their fancy speaker internals proudly displayed. To ensure secure speaker mounting, use stubby self-tap screws in the oval holes along the pod rim. Other holes are designed for sound flow and style considerations, including a dedicated hole for cable management. Two 5mm mount holes, spaced 25mm apart, can be found underneath the base, accompanied by a 10mm diameter nut/washer recess. To produce these pods, print them as orientated in the STL file, without requiring any supports. I successfully printed mine using translucent filament, which resulted in a visually striking effect from the infill pattern. A SCAD file is included for your use, although it's not parameterized for speaker sizes – my apologies for this limitation.
