This design is a Lego-compatible case for a 1602 LCD screen. The LCD stays in place by friction against the borders plus locator pins. Two versions are included: - Compact version = the smallest dimensions possible that stays compatible with Lego dimensions. This gives an 11x2 studs footprint, 4.67 bricks high. The uneven length means that it will be difficult to center on a Lego plate, as large plates always have even dimensions. Regarding the height, it means that you'll need to use 4 full-size bricks plus 2 thin plates to match it. - Large version = larger dimensions that makes it easier to include in Lego constructions: 12x2 studs footprint, 5 full-size bricks high. Even length plus round number of bricks height = easy to include nicely in Lego constructions. This is the design shown in the pictures. For both versions, you will still need to let the cables in/out, therefore some free space is needed behind this brick (in the upper area).
